Interdepartmental Programs
Case Western Reserve University is one of the
nation's premiere universities for the study of
chemical-based sciences. In previous years, CASE
has ranked 3rd out of
all colleges and universities in the nation in receipt
of federal grants for chemical engineering, with grants
to Macromolecular Science and Chemical Engineering
departments summing nearly equally. CASE programs in
Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering and Materials Science
are also strong.
Interdepartmental programs, involving course
sequences or minor and dual degrees, can be designed to
best suit the student's needs and interests.

Co-op Programs
The department assists with job placement. Our
students and graduates have been able to make
significant individual contributions in industry.
Moreover, they value the opportunity to work together
with industrial scientists in high performance research
teams and to apply their knowledge and training.
